Wells
"Wells in Somerset is an unspoilt market town of outstanding beauty, located in rolling countryside, at the foot of the Mendip Hills."

Historic Wells is England's smallest city and one of the most beautiful. Although much of the glory of Wells lies in the past, today it's a popular bustling city with a lot to offer.
Wells is a popular location for commercial and business activities. Well-known companies are located in and around the city, with computer software development, electrical engineering on the various business sites around the city.
A new business park known as Cathedral City Business Park is under development and will offer almost 16 acres of new eco-friendly business space.
Wells offers a good shopping experience for locals and visitors alike, with several multiples and a variety of interesting specialist shops, plus a number of supermarkets close to the commercial centre. There is a popular award-winning market on Wednesdays and Saturdays, the mid-week market incorporates a local farmers’ market.
The city also boasts a theatre, cinema, leisure centre with swimming pool and conference facilities.
Wells has a strong educational offer. Wells Cathedral School is a significant employer and is internationally recognised as a specialist music school. The Blue School is home to FEAST, a food skills training centre that local businesses and employers can access to train staff and apprentices.
As well as the cultural and musical events around the Cathedral and the Cathedral School, Wells is also the home of an annual Wells Festival of Literature held in October, which this year features Shirley Williams, Melvyn Bragg, Pam Ayres and Peter and Dan Snow.
Family entertainment includes the annual Carnival, May Day Fair, Moat Boat Race and other seasonal events.
