Truly Uniq
Based in Evercreech, Truly Uniq is one of the district’s largest employers. They make a range of premium desserts and cottage cheeses for customers including Marks & Spencer.
Originally part of the St Ivel group, the plant was earmarked for closure but a substantial investment by the Truly Uniq group – which operates from six other locations throughout the UK brought the factory to the forefront of food production.
Dairy production on the Evercreech site dates back to 1891 and today milk from 200 West Country farms makes its way to the village to be used in the company’s chilled dessert and cheese range.
