Funding Opportunities

Businesses are urged to take up recent opportunities via two new initiatives: Somerset Business Boost Grant Scheme and Regional research and development Funding

Business Boost is a fund to assist Somerset businesses undertaking significant change projects requiring external help.

The scheme is primarily targeted at the advanced engineering, food, environmental technologies, ICT and the high value creative sector.

It funds 50% of the project costs to a max of £1,500 if eligible.  Contact Business Link for further details and application forms.

Research and Development Seminars

Following a highly successful event in Bristol, Enterprise Europe Network South West is hosting two additional breakfast seminars in Plymouth on 25 June and Gloucester on 2 July to promote the research and development support available to SMEs in the region, Europe and other overseas markets, eg  R&D tax credits, grants for R&D, European R&D funding and international R&D collaborations.
