Cafe society - online style - in Frome
Cafe La Strada has set up Frome Friends, an online social networking and resource website for Frome.
Cafe La Strada, one of Frome's premier coffee houses has found an innovative way of promoting itself via the web.
As well as serving up information about the cafe on its website, it offers its local clientele a social networking facility (Frome Friends) and information about what's on in the town.
S-J White from Frome based marketing design agency, Whitespace, who have designed and built Frome Friends, told Mendip Business Life: "We put Frome Friends together as a dual local window for Whitespace and Café La Strada, because we thought it would be a bit of fun and it made sense to cross promote with the café as it's such a social place."
