Legendary Somerset in the BBC Countryfile magazine

In its Countryfile magazine, the BBC has reported on the various attractions of Somerset, including Frome, Wells and Glastonbury.

We all suspected as much, but now it's official.  Somerset is a really beautiful place to be.

The BBC Countryfile magazine's November edition has put Glastonbury, Somerset on its front page and contains a long feature about living and visiting the county.

The article draws attention to the landscape of the levels and their famous inhabitants - the 'startling starlings' of Westhay.

As well as Wells and Glastonbury, the guide recommends Frome as the best market town in Somerset for a day out enjoying the distinctive antiques and vintage clothing shops of Catherine Hill.

The Somerset carnival season, which is just about to start, is featured as a highlight of the autumn calendar.

We are all delighted that the BBC agrees that Somerset is a legendary place to be.
