Why do you do what you do?

I have been in recruitment for 7 years and get a real satisfaction out of helping people. It’s fast paced and no two days are ever the same. It challenging and rewarding.  I do what I do because “I love it”.

How does Mendip inspire your work?

The Mendip area is such a pleasant place to work, it has such varied job opportunities. In my view all the companies in the Mendip area encourage support within the community and in turn are successful because of the support they get back.

What are the advantages and drawbacks about living in this area?

Advantage: Local business supports local people
Disadvantage: Public transport does not always cater to allow easier access to job locations

What's your favourite part of Mendip and why?

Mendip hills: to be up there is breath taking, they always get snow and when they do it’s like a different place, a winter wonderland.

What would you say to encourage people to visit here and work here?

It’s a lovely part of the country, that has the feel of the country side and which is so close to big cities like Bath and Bristol. People are friendly and the Mendip area has a lot to offer for everyone of any age or stage in their life.
