The Credit Crunch

The next meeting of the Mendip Business Exchange is being held at Clarks Conference Centre in Street. The topic is the ‘Credit Crunch’, how this may affect your business and what you can do about it. We have brought together expert speakers to tell us about the latest implications of the ‘credit crunch’ and offer practical advice to local businesses. There will be speakers from a local bank, local accountant, local venture capitalist and local businesses. You will have an opportunity to ask questions of an expert panel and to network with the businesses and experts present at the end of the event. There is also the option of a tour of the new high tech Clarks Shoe warehouse before the event (limited to 20 places). The event is FREE and is on Monday the 3rd November 2008. The programme is as follows:
• 4.30pm to 5.30pm - Tour of Clarks new high tech warehouse
• 6.00pm to 6.30pm - Buffet at Clarks Conference centre
• 6.30pm to 8.30pm - Event at Clarks Conference Centre
• 8.30pm - Close
